A Child’s New Year’s Prayer and Resolution
A resolution is something we promise ourselves that we will do.
For example:
“With God’s help, I promise to do my best to pray more for my family.”
or
“With God’s help, I promise to do my best to be friendly to others at school.”
Ask God to help you decide what your resolution should be this year. Then, pray for His help to see it through.
Now, here is the fun part!
- Print out our downloadable “New Year’s Prayer and Resolution” pledge.
- Write down the resolution that God has placed on your heart.
- Have fun coloring it!
- Place it where it will remind you of your resolution all year long.

A hand-colored message from a child is such a wonderful way to spread the joy of Christmas. The children might color them and take them to retirement communities to encourage the elderly, send them to a soldier who can’t be home this Christmas, or maybe even insert them into your family’s Christmas cards.
